Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of pssst.fyi (the "Service"), operated by Aurolabs AB, a Swedish limited company. By creating a watch, signing in, or paying for a subscription you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What pssst is

pssst is an AI agent that monitors topics you describe in plain text and emails you a short brief when it finds something fresh, on a cadence you choose (monthly, weekly, or daily). The brief is generated by a large language model using publicly accessible web search, and includes citations to its sources.

2. AI-generated content

The briefs you receive are AI-generated. We tell you this both here and in every watchletter footer in compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act (transparency obligations).

• The agent reads publicly available web sources and synthesises them. It does not verify facts independently.
• Sources are linked so you can read the originals. Always verify with the cited sources before acting on a brief — particularly for financial, legal, medical, or safety-relevant decisions.
• AI systems can hallucinate, mis-summarise, or mis-attribute. We work hard to reduce this but cannot eliminate it. Use the Service accordingly.
• The agent does not produce legal, medical, financial, or any other professional advice.

3. Your account

• You sign in using a magic link or a 6-digit code sent to your email. Keep your inbox secure — anyone with access to it can sign in to your pssst.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You're responsible for the topics you create and the accuracy of the email address you provide.
• One account per person. Don't share credentials.

4. Subscription, billing & cancellation

• Pricing: Monthly tier is free with one topic. Weekly is €9 / month with three topics included. Daily is €29 / month with five topics included. Extra topics are €3 / month each. Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
• Billing: Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By paying you authorise Aurolabs AB to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Cancellation: You may pause or cancel at any time from any watchletter footer or from your dashboard. Pausing stops future charges at the end of your current billing period; the rest of the period is delivered as paid for. Cancelling for good ends the subscription immediately.
• Refunds: EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. Because pssst delivers digital content from the moment you confirm your first watchletter, by signing up you expressly request that delivery begin within the 14-day period and acknowledge that this waives the right of withdrawal once delivery has started. We will refund pro-rata if our service materially fails to deliver as described — write to us.
• Price changes: If we change pricing, existing subscribers keep their current price for at least 30 days after notice; you can cancel before any change takes effect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor, harass, dox, or stalk a specific named individual without a clear public-interest reason;
• Create topics that target illegal content, CSAM, or content promoting violence;
• Scrape, copy, or republish the Service's interface or output at scale;
• Try to reverse-engineer the model, extract prompts, or break authentication;
• Resell briefs or pass them off as human-written editorial content without disclosing they were generated by pssst.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription.

6. Source content & intellectual property

• The briefs we generate are licensed to you for personal use. You may share individual briefs with attribution to pssst, but you may not republish them as a recurring product.
• Source articles linked from briefs remain the copyright of their respective publishers. Click through to read; we don't grant rights we don't have.
• The pssst name, logo, and interface are property of Aurolabs AB.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no SLA on a free tier. For paid tiers we target 99% monthly availability; if we drop materially below that for reasons within our control we'll credit affected users on request. Maintenance, third-party outages (OpenAI, Stripe, our email provider), and force majeure are excluded.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Aurolabs AB disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that briefs are complete, accurate, timely, or that any source linked is currently online.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurolabs AB's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if we were advised of the possibility.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law (e.g. liability for personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

10. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you don't accept, cancel before the effective date for a pro-rata refund of the unused subscription period.

12. Termination

You may terminate at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard. We may terminate for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or with 30 days' notice for any reason — in which case we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes will be resolved by Swedish courts, with the District Court of Stockholm as the court of first instance — except that consumers domiciled elsewhere in the EU may also bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence and benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection laws there. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
